I’m Gabriella Loddo, an interior and exterior yacht specialist.
With a university master degree in yacht design and more than 8 years experience in interior and exterior outfitting engineering, I decided to found Birde Interiors.
I worked for some of the most renowned shipyards in The Netherlands, such as Feadship, Damen and Amels in the project engineer interior / exterior role, managing teams of engineers and responsible for the discipline from start to finish of the project.
I love the challenges involved in creating new yachts and understand the overall process, as well as the smallest details involved in creating magnificent custom vessels.
Focusing on qualitative technical engineering and attention to details, the goal is to achieve astonishing interiors and exteriors by aiming for the perfect aesthetic and technical balance.
I believe that time management and good communication are the key ingredients for successful teamwork.
I am based in Malta and flexible to join your multi-disciplinary team and work together!

Part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for the interior engineering of a custom and refit Yacht support vessel.
Projects involved: 75 mt custom yacht, 45 mt refit yacht

Project leader exterior engineer – March 2015 – July 2018
Part of an interdisciplinary project team and responsible for the exterior shape and the final production details of the exterior of the yacht, tender stores and beach clubs.

Project collaboration – September 2014 – March 2015
Collaboration as an Interior designer and draftsman within a small architectural studio specialized in floating architectures. Worked as a designer for interior proposals of luxury floating villas.

Position as an all-around interior engineer and designer within a small shipyard.
Involved in the realization of the sailing catamaran Rapier 550.
